Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026

Scope

These terms apply to your access to and use of raycontentech.com and to our quotations, samples, demos and related services. Using the site means you accept them.

Services

We provide platforms, translation and localisation, multilingual DTP typesetting, XML/DITA implementation, custom PDF publishing, 3D interactive documentation and related services. Scope is defined by the written quotation or contract.

Quotations and orders

Information on this site is not an offer. All quotations are issued in writing and become binding upon written confirmation or contract signature.

Customer responsibilities

You provide accurate, complete and usable source files and materials and warrant that you hold the necessary rights or permissions; supply glossaries, style guides and feedback promptly; and take part in acceptance as agreed.

Intellectual property

Ownership of deliverables is governed by the contract; after full payment, usage rights transfer to the customer unless otherwise agreed. We retain all rights to our tools, templates, methodologies, glossaries and processes.

Confidentiality

Each party keeps confidential the other's trade secrets and non-public information and will not disclose them without written consent. This obligation survives termination.

Payment

Payment terms follow the quotation or contract (usually 30 days; staged prepayment may apply to large orders). Late payment may lead to suspension of services.

Delivery and acceptance

We deliver in the agreed format and timeframe. You should raise written objections within the agreed period (10 business days by default); otherwise acceptance is deemed given.

Warranties and liability

We warrant services performed to prevailing professional standards. Except as required by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or data loss; aggregate liability will not exceed fees paid for the relevant services.

Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by force majeure (natural disasters, governmental acts, network failures), provided prompt notice and mitigation efforts.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes will be settled amicably; failing that, by the competent court in Beijing.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is published here. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
