The AHF Japan dealer meeting was held in Beijing in August. Beijing Ray took part as a reseller, discussing product direction and local user needs with the vendor team.

Product directions discussed

Where the AI assistant should live (docs site chat, Oxygen side panel or inside the GUI), whether GUI layout preview becomes a fuller authoring and debugging environment, Chinese documentation and samples, Oxygen integration and PDF/UA output.

What we are doing

As a reseller, Beijing Ray has introduced an AI assistant for AHF PDF Formatter (still in testing) and launched a community survey on how stylesheet developers and authors publish DITA XML / Markdown to PDF in Oxygen, where time is lost, and what the vendor should prioritise.

The survey takes about 5–8 minutes and can be answered anonymously; every response feeds into the product and engineering priority discussions.
